Jesse Newland walks us through how to use the new Democracy Player (OSX only) to subscribe to any show that has an RSS feed. The player looks promising, like an RSS reader for video content.

These guys took the idea of SiFR and extended it to an XHTML page that gets parts of it parsed into a flash movie. So the page is valid, it has good SEO, but the content happens in Flash. I don’t love the Pontiac site they made with it, but the idea is interesting.

Airtight has developed a clever flash app that uses Yahoo’s Image Search API, called Simple Image Search. Go have a look, but don’t say I didn’t warn you the search is not “safe” (try searching “rock” or “stone”).
Another nice piece from Airtight is the free PostcardViewer. Similar to SimpleViewer.
